What’s the most iconic movie opening of all time?
Most iconic movie opening of all time
100% Any Star Wars movie ever
Saving Private Ryan’s 45 minute D-Day beach landing scene comes to mind!
The very long one-shot opening of 1917!
I don’t know if it’s the most iconic, but the re-imagined/re-start of the 2009 Star Trek movie is one of the greatest openings to a movie for me. The opening title of the movie (“Star Trek”) doesn’t even come up on the screen until after 10 minutes of intense action…. Going into the movie I was doubting why they would be trying to reboot the franchise…. After that first 10 minutes I was all in.
Not too mention it’s completely awesome to watch in a d-box chair…
Absolutely it has to be the original Star Wars opening, repeated in every edition!
The original Star Wars opening
I would say jaws!
Lord of the Rings was the most anticipated movie. The trailer came out 1 year prior to opening day, and it didn’t reveal too much
I would have to agree with Marc B, the opening of 1917 is amazing
The opening to Up!
Star Wars is beyond iconic
Star Wars and Jurassic Park!
The original Star Wars opening
Seems like Star Wars is winning the game!
I’ll +1 to UP. Excellent job at attaching us to a movie’s characters.
The Star Wars opening can’t be beat
I would have to say lord of the rings
Jurassic park has a powerful opening
Star Wars has the most instantly recognizable of any movie in my opinion
